| 2006 | Amazon Jungle Trip: I went on a fabulous trip on the Rio Negro in the heart of the Amazon jungle with my father and sister in May. The focus was on natural history, so we did lots of bird-watching. I've been working on a new set of cards based on my Amazon watercolor paintings. They can be viewed here: Amazon Collection. I am also working on new paintings of Amazon -inspired insects and butterflies. The preliminary insect watercolors for the first completed new large paintings can be seen here: Tropical Insects. A complete identification guide is included for each of these new pieces. | |||
